HOW IT WORKS
Botox® injections treat hyperhidrosis. When injected into the affected area, Botox® blocks the nerve signals that trigger sweating, temporarily disabling overactive sweat glands. Areas of concern include, but are not limited to, the underarms, hands, feet, and forehead.
Our board-certified providers may apply numbing cream to the treatment areas before the procedure. We then clean the area and deliver several injections with tiny needles. The procedure is quick, safe, and effective!
HYPERHIDROSIS CAUSES
The causes of hyperhidrosis vary. You may have a genetic predisposition from primary to secondary hyperhidrosis from an underlying health condition like hyperthyroidism, obesity, or Parkinson’s disease. You can’t prevent hyperhidrosis, but you can treat it!
