How SkinPen Works

Medical-grade, sterile needle cartridges glide across the skin, creating microscopic channels in the dermis to trigger a 3-phase biological repair process:

What to Expect
- 1. Preparation & Numbing: Your skin is thoroughly cleansed and a topical prescription-strength numbing cream is applied for 20–30 minutes to ensure complete comfort throughout.
- 2. Precision Treatment: Your provider applies a hydrating glide serum and systematically passes the SkinPen® device across the treatment area, tailoring needle depth to your specific skin needs.
- 3. Post-Care Hydration: Treatment concludes with a soothing post-procedure serum to calm inflammation and lock in deep moisture.
- 4. Recovery & Aftercare: Skin will appear flushed (similar to a mild sunburn) for 24 to 48 hours. You will receive a specialized post-care kit to keep your skin hydrated and protected at home.

For general anti-aging and skin texture, a series of 3 sessions spaced 4 weeks apart is recommended. For moderate-to-severe acne scarring, a series of 3 to 6 sessions provides optimal structural improvement.
Skin may appear pink or flushed for 24 to 48 hours, similar to a mild sun exposure. Most clients return to normal activities the next day, and mineral makeup can be applied after 24 hours.
