LASER PIGMENT TREATMENT
BROWN PIGMENTS & SUN DAMAGE
The sun’s powerful rays can be harmful to our delicate skin. Sun damage, or photoaging, is when the skin undergoes premature aging due to the sun’s effects. This occurs when ultraviolet (UV) light makes contact with unprotected skin, leading to DNA alterations at a cellular level.
Signs of sun damage begin in the teens to early twenties. Symptoms include the following:
Wrinkling
Pigmentation (Age Spots, Liver Spots, Freckles)
Decreased Skin Elasticity
Rough Skin Texture
HOW CAN WE TREAT SUN DAMAGE?
Our advanced laser pigment treatments offer a comfortable and efficient way to target large areas of pigmentation on the body, including the hands, arms, legs, chest, and back. These treatments are quick and require no downtime, making them an ideal solution for addressing dark spots, sun damage, and other benign pigmented lesions on both the face and body.
The duration of each session varies depending on the size of the treatment area. To achieve optimal results, we recommend a series of three sessions. Once the treated areas have healed, the pigmentation typically does not return.

HOW CAN YOU PREVENT SUN DAMAGE?
It’s never too late to start focusing your attention on prevention! We, along with dermatologists, recommend utilizing a broad-spectrum sunscreen, which will guard you from UVA and UVB rays.
We also recommend opting for a sunscreen that is SPF 30 or higher and water-resistant for a steadfast defense. Reapply every two hours, even on a cloudy day! And don’t forget to apply to your hands!
Spending an extended amount of time in the sun? Opt for UPF clothing!
