PERI & MENOPAUSAL HEALTH
FEEL LIKE YOURSELF AGAIN
While aging is inevitable, the discomfort that often comes with menopause doesn’t have to be! Hormone therapy (HT) offers a solution for the many symptoms that arise during and after menopause by restoring estrogen levels to a more balanced state. Unlike men, who experience a gradual hormonal decline, women undergo a sudden and significant drop in estrogen during menopause, leading to a range of unwanted effects. By replenishing these hormones, hormone therspy can help alleviate or even eliminate many of these symptoms, allowing you to feel more like yourself again.
IS HORMONE THERAPY RIGHT FOR ME?
Hormone therapy for women may be recommended for individuals who are experiencing symptoms related to hormone imbalances, such as the following:
Headaches
Hot flashes
Weight gain
Mood swings
Memory loss
Night sweats
Vaginal dryness
Lack of sexual drive
Fatigue or difficulty sleeping
It's important to keep in mind that hormone therapy is not suitable for everyone. Individuals with a history of certain medical conditions, such as breast cancer or blood clots, may not be eligible candidates for hormone therapy.
GETTING STARTED
If you're ready to start hormone therapy in Wisconsin or Iowa, we invite you to visit one of our three locations for an initial consultation with Miranda Zuhlke. For your convenience, we also offer virtual consultations.
Miranda is a PA-C with North American Menopause Society (NAMS) certification, and understands that every woman’s experience is unique and values creating a space where women feel seen, heard, and supported. Whether you’re seeking guidance for menopause, fertility, or sexual health, Miranda is here to walk with you on your journey to optimal health and fulfillment. She believes that menopause is not an end but a new beginning, offering women the chance to reclaim vitality and embrace their best selves.
During your “Women’s Health Visit”, Miranda will evaluate your medical history and determine if you are a candidate for hormone therapy (HT). If we determine that hormone therapy is appropriate for you, we will provide information on how to prepare for the treatment and what to expect during and after!
