The Science Behind the Relief

Chronic migraines and tension-type headaches are often linked to Myofascial Trigger Points, or hyper-irritable spots in the skeletal muscle. These points can "refer" pain to other parts of the head, creating the throbbing sensation, light sensitivity, and pressure associated with migraines.

By injecting neuromodulators (“tox”) into specific points along the forehead, temples, and neck, we block the release of pain-signaling chemicals (neurotransmitters). This effectively "shuts off" the pain pathway before the migraine can take hold.
