Tox Injections

Look Refreshed. Feel Confident. Still Look Like You.

Have you noticed that the lines between your brows seem to linger, even when you're not frowning? Or that your reflection sometimes looks a little more tired than you actually feel?

Those subtle changes are a natural part of life. But if they're beginning to bother you, we're here to help.

At Venustas Immortalis, we believe aesthetic medicine isn't about changing your face. It's about helping you feel comfortable and confident in your own skin. With a thoughtful combination of medical expertise and artistic precision, our experienced injectors use Botox®, Dysport®, Xeomin®, and Jeuveau® to gently soften expression lines while preserving what makes your face uniquely yours.

Personalized Evaluation

What's Bothering You? Let's Talk About It.

Sometimes it's a line that wasn't there before. Sometimes it's a tired expression, a tense jaw, or simply wanting to look a little more refreshed. Whatever brought you here, we'll listen first and help you understand your options.

“I look tired, even when I'm not.”

Fine lines around the eyes and forehead can sometimes make us look less rested than we feel. Carefully placed neurotoxin can soften those lines while preserving natural expression.

Common Areas: Forehead lines, crow's feet, frown lines

“People ask if I'm upset when I'm not.”

Those persistent lines between the eyebrows can create an expression that doesn't reflect how you're feeling. Treatment can gently relax the muscles responsible for those lines.

Common Areas: Glabellar lines (the "11's")

“I'd love a subtle change, but nothing obvious.”

Maybe you'd like to soften chin dimpling, refine a downturned mouth, or explore a subtle lip flip. Small, precisely placed treatments may help create subtle changes without dramatically altering your appearance.

Common Areas: Chin dimpling, mouth corners, lip flip

“My jaw always feels tight.”

If you clench your teeth or experience jaw tension (TMJ), neurotoxin may be an option worth discussing. Our medical professionals can evaluate your concerns and help determine whether treatment is appropriate.

Common Areas: Masseter muscles
Clinical Tailoring

Not All Tox Is the Same. And Neither Are You.

Choosing the right neurotoxin isn't about following a trend or selecting the most recognizable brand. It's about understanding your facial anatomy, how your muscles move, and the results you're hoping to achieve.

At Venustas Immortalis, we offer Botox®, Dysport®, Xeomin®, and Jeuveau®, giving our medical professionals options to thoughtfully tailor your treatment across our Milton, New Glarus, and Dubuque practices.

Each formulation has its own clinical characteristics, approved indications, and dosing considerations. Our experienced injectors evaluate these factors alongside your individual needs to recommend an appropriate approach. You don't need to know which product is right for you—that's what we're here for.

Thoughtful Care

Curious About Tox, But a Little Nervous?

We understand. Maybe you've seen results that looked unnatural. Maybe you're worried about discomfort, or you're simply unsure whether treatment is right for you. Those are perfectly reasonable concerns, and we welcome the conversation.

Our approach begins with listening. We'll talk about what bothers you, what you love about your appearance, and what you'd prefer not to change. We'll explain what treatment can realistically accomplish, discuss the risks and benefits, and develop a plan that feels right for you.

And if treatment isn't the right choice? We'll tell you that, too. Your trust matters more to us than any single treatment.

Your Treatment Journey

What Can You Expect?

01

First, We Listen

Your appointment begins with a conversation about your concerns, goals, medical history, and what you're hoping to achieve. We'll evaluate your facial anatomy and movement patterns before recommending treatment.

02

Then, We Create Your Plan

No two faces are alike, and your treatment shouldn't be either. We'll discuss appropriate products, treatment areas, expected outcomes, potential risks, and costs before proceeding.

03

Treatment Is Typically Quick

Most neurotoxin appointments involve a series of small injections and require relatively little time. Your provider will explain what to expect and provide appropriate aftercare instructions.

04

Your Results Develop Gradually

Depending on the product and individual response, you may begin noticing results within several days, with the full effect generally developing over approximately one to two weeks. Results often last around three to four months, although duration varies.

Frequently Asked Questions

“Tox” refers to neurotoxin injections that temporarily relax targeted facial muscles to smooth dynamic wrinkles caused by repetitive expressions. Common treatment zones include forehead lines, frown lines (11s), crow's feet, bunny lines, lip lines, chin dimpling, and neck bands. Tox is also used for brow lifts, jawline slimming, facial balancing, hyperhidrosis (excessive sweating), and TMJ relief.

Preventative tox involves starting neuromodulator treatments before wrinkle lines become deeply set in the skin. By relaxing the muscle movements responsible for creasing, preventative care slows the formation of permanent static lines, maintaining smoother skin over time.

Not at Venustas Immortalis. When performed by our licensed clinical injectors, tox looks natural, refreshed, and rested. Our treatments are customized to your anatomy and muscle strength to soften lines while preserving expressive facial movement.

Results are typically visible within 4–14 days following treatment and last approximately 3–4 months. Duration depends on the product used, metabolism, dosage, and muscle strength. Regular maintenance appointments several times per year help keep results consistent.

We offer full Tox consultation and treatment services across all three of our clinic locations in Milton, WI, New Glarus, WI, and Dubuque, IA.

Medical Safety Note: Neurotoxin injections (Botox®, Dysport®, Xeomin®, Jeuveau®) are FDA-approved prescription medical treatments. Certain treatment applications discussed above may be considered off-label clinical uses. Potential mild side effects include temporary swelling, tenderness, or localized bruising at the injection site. During your comprehensive medical consultation, your provider will thoroughly review your health history, contraindications, and potential risks to ensure safe treatment.
