Clinical Standard

Medical-Grade Ingredients Make the Difference

Standard day-spa facials focus primarily on temporary relaxation and surface hydration. While soothing, they rarely penetrate deep enough to produce long-term structural changes in skin health.

At Venustas Immortalis, our facial protocols pair active medical-grade ingredients with advanced clinical modalities—such as Bellatrix hydro-suction, dermaplaning, microcurrent toning, and laser skin revitalization—allowing active treatments to reach deeper epidermal layers where true cellular renewal occurs.

You don't need to choose your exact facial protocol in advance. Our licensed aestheticians perform a thorough skin analysis at the start of your appointment to tailor the treatment to your skin's immediate needs.

Comfort & Care

New to Professional Skincare Treatments?

It's completely normal to feel unsure about what your skin can handle, especially if you have sensitive skin, reactive redness, or active breakouts.

We begin every treatment with an open discussion regarding your home regimen, sensitivities, and goals. We tailor our exfoliation strength, suction levels, and active modalities so your skin leaves feeling nourished, calm, and luminous.

Your comfort and skin barrier safety are our top priorities at every step.

Frequently Asked Questions

Please discontinue active skincare ingredients—including Retin-A, retinols, AHA/BHA chemical exfoliants, and scrubs—at least 3 days prior to your service. Avoid direct sun exposure or facial waxing near the treatment area immediately before your appointment.

For healthy cellular turnover and skin maintenance, we generally recommend scheduling a professional facial every 4 to 6 weeks. Specialized acne clearing protocols or event prep series may involve more frequent initial sessions.

We recommend receiving your facial treatment before your injectable appointment, or waiting at least 14 days after receiving Botox or dermal fillers. This ensures no pressure or massage displaces the injectable products while they settle.

Basic Facials, Advanced Facials, Teen Facials, and certain laser treatments are offered across our locations, while specialized technology treatments like the Hydro Facial, Oxygen HydroFacial, and Lift & Tone Facial vary between our Dubuque and Milton clinics. Our booking platform displays specific location availability.

Clinical Skincare Note: Medical-grade facials and laser skin treatments are safe, non-invasive rejuvenation procedures. Minor skin flushing or temporary sensitivity may occur immediately following active extractions or clinical exfoliation, resolving within a few hours. Your aesthetician will verify contraindications (such as active cold sores or open skin lesions) prior to beginning your service.
